Level 3 is enhancing the efficiency of Cinemark's communications systems by providing the company with Internet services in Sao Paulo to support connectivity to its VPN (virtual private network) of 67 movie theater complexes, which are distributed throughout 35 Brazilian cities.

Headquartered in the United States and present in 12 other countries, Cinemark Network arrived in Brazil in 1997 and is using Level 3 Internet services to optimize its online communication and corporate systems. The Level 3 network is capable of supporting all Cinemark movie theaters in 16 Brazilian states simultaneously while maintaining optimal performance.
