I just switched to Google Domains (which is in closed beta) from my other domain registration and DNS providers. Really nice, much better than any of the other providers I tried, and far better than the worst I had (which was Dyn).

Google Domains seems particularly good for domains where you just want e-mail and web forwarding to another domain, but it also as good or better for more complicated custom configurations (of which I had a couple). It's only $12/year and unlimited fast DNS, private registration, e-mail forwarding, and URL forwarding are all included in that (unlike others that have up-charges for a lot of those features).
