QuadraNet has discovered a software fault in the SSD Storage backend used in our Los Angeles InfraCloud location. The fault in our backend software has made a hot-migration of VMs impossible and as a result, during this maintenance window all InfraCloud instances in our Los Angeles location will be cleanly shutdown, host machines will be rebooted, and instances will then be restarted.

In future maintenances, barring unexpected issues, hot-migration should be an option to reduce down-time.
