    Como comentei certa vez, não tenho uso para servidores virtuais, dedicados, colocation no Brasil, de forma que não acompanho esse mercado.

    Abordei as ofertas de mariolas da Embratel e da Vivo apenas porque são operadoras, espécie em extinção. Poderá não haver outra oportunidade.

    Estou fazendo o dever de casa sobre a Aruba e dois pontos chamam a atenção:

    1. As locações Londres, Frankfurt e Paris utilizam infraestrutura da Equinix.

    2. Os data centers próprios (CZ1 IT1 IT2) são apresentados com incomum riqueza de detalhes

    Vamos lá. A Aruba possui 2 data centers próprios na Itália, IT1 e IT2, ambos em Arezzo. Um deles é o mais antigo da empresa e o outro é o mais avançado dos 6 localizados em 5 paises.

    Se você pensa que IT2 é o mais moderno ... IT2 é o sucatão

    IT1 é o festejado data center tier IV com 100% uptime desde a inauguração, em 2011.

    Intuitivo, não?

    Curiosamente, o site da Aruba não identifica quem é quem. Lista como opções DC1-IT, DC2-IT, ... DC6-UK.

    DC1 = IT1 certo?

    Como precisava de 2 mariolas, coloquei um em cada cesto.

    DC1 parece ser IT1 ...

    ... e o DC2 guarda pequenas surpresas
